Evening was great however the “large plates” are not so large in food quantity. You see a large plate but the food is tiny. You cannot share these plates. We went for lunch once and their food plates had more food.

This place is fabulous! We managed to get seats at the bar ( having realized that you need a reservation; plenty of other have the same idea when it comes to Sunday Brunch... ) and were treated to a culinary feast with one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The menu is short but extremely well designed with each dish a perfect harmony of exquisite flavors. My boyfriend and I shared the Salmon Benny and the BLT, both were mouth wateringly amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who likes brunch to take the trip to Eugenia and visit the Flying Chestnut, it is well worth the drive!

What a great little restaurant!! The service was excellent we were served by the owner JD what a great guy very friendly, and the food he whipped up was excellent. Just a word of advice though make sure your very hungary before ordering the "Big ben" because its huge. Also the prices are more then reasonable.

I stopped in on my way through this fun little town while on business. I was looking for some local food. I ordered a chicken club and half way through making it the chef walked out through the front door, went next door to the local cheese mongor and bought more cheese for my sandwich. Overall great food, great people and it supports other local businesses.

My hubby and I decided last minute to grab a bite to eat, I had the steak on a bun with onions and fries and he had a bacon cheeseburger & we had battered veggies...again it was excellent, we were stuffed before we cleaned off our plates - it's so nice to have dinner out and get lots of food at such low prices! Went there for lunch today ,Tuesday Sept 11th ,on entering the restaurant immediately noticed how exceptionally clean and tidy it was ,at the time it was easy to get a table as it had just gone 12 in an hour people were waiting for a table it was busy .we had the buffet it was one of the best Ive had in ages food was hot and plentiful and delicious from the first bite to the last .it is worth the drive from Owen sound
