Wonderful restaurant and drinking establishment. I usually go there with my boyfriend but sometimes, late at night, when he is asleep, you can find me at Jax because that is where good friends meet. And I've met so many good friends like MJ and have recently got my hair extensions done by this beautiful woman who had carried around roses that entire evening. I went there once with my friend Claire, who was, at the time, struggling with her weight and needed assistance to get to the karaoke bar to sing 'Stand By Your Man' and no one mocked her obesity. The food there is great and it is full of great real people. I cannot highly recommended this place enough and when you come out on a Saturday night after making an easy 25 bucks, I'll have a place reserved for you at my table. Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday afternoon after driving by several times and not even realizing that it was really there (found it on restaurantica). We all shared a bunch of appetizers which were all great (huge portions so we took a lot of food home) and then my husband and I split the clubhouse and a burger. The burger was the best that I had ever had, and the clubhouse was great. I was with a party of 5 and we were all totally shocked by the huge portions that we received. The service was extremely friendly and speedy and we were made to feel like we were right at home. The server even wrote out a list of their daily specials for us so that we would know for the next time we came back. The place was super busy and I can see why. I have a feeling that this will turn into our new local spot for dinner and drinks. Great atmosphere with cliental that seemed to be from toddler right through to the elderly and prices are extremely reasonable.. for all of the food we ordered it probably would have cost double anywhere else! Never in our years of living, have we seen an order come so fast. It came within about 15 mins... We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. My first visit was pleasant enough. We were greeted right away and accomodated for our party of 5. At first I was not really impressed with only the 'make your own stirfry' option for dinner but was told it was excellent. Tons of selection of meats, veggies and sauces...wasn't sure where to start! Guys at the fryer seemed to really enjoy their jobs, it was very entertaining to watch. Food was really yummy. Atmosphere was alright, didn't really notice any defectives like others are posting. Waitress was somewhat reliable in refilling our drinks. When it comes to tipping, the guys at the fryer really earn theirs however not sure about the waitresses as all they did was bring us water....nothing from the menu was ordered. The only downside to this place is the price (15.99 per person Mon-Thurs is the deal we did) but I guess for others it's an awesome price for the food. Lire plus

My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable. My boyfriend and i are regulars at Mustangs... It is such a fantastic atmosphere...Now this is how you do a bar and grill.... the waitresses are always fantastic. The owner is there on a regular basis to check up on everyone and see how their meals are going. They usually start you out with fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa while you're waiting on your meals. The specials they have are great... Monday & Wednesday nights are wing nights... you can get 2 pounds for the price of 1... If we go on a wing night the bill usually only comes to just over 20$... cant beat that!!.... Tuesday nights are Munchie Nights.... they have a seperate menu for appatizers that are on special.... they are all very delicious... and there is a wide variety.... Thursday nights are all you can eat rib nights... the ribs are very good (as i'm told by my boyfriend, because i'm not a fan of ribs)... Friday and Saturday nights are Prime Rib nights..... i've never personally had the prime rib, but i've heard its delicious!... and Sunday nights are Fajita nights.... you can get a large portion of fajitas for 2 people... i cant recall the price, but it is very reasonable!... Overall this resturaunt is amazing.... my boyfriend always says "you'd eat here for every meal if you could"... Their Chicken Club is what we usually get.... It is so delicious... fresh chickn breast on a garlic toast french baugette.... we get the French Onion Soup as our sides most of the time... it is the best i've ever had (mind you i just started eating french onion soup... so i haven't had it from a ton of places, however it is the best from here).... We are a huge fan of the Nachos (there is so much toppings on them).. we usually get the chicken ones.... Also the BBQ chicken brachetta is amazing!... If we are feeling like it after our meal we'll ask what the desserts are for the evening... i dont know why we ask, because we always decide on the brownie pail to split between us... it is so great.... fresh warm brownies (4), rich vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream... its the perfect dessert to end an increadible meal!.... The one thing that i do not like about Mustangs is the Birthday song they blair everytime someone has a birthday!!!!.... We get it.. someone is a year older.... Please just clap and sing.... the sombraros are so funny... but sometimes they play the song way too loud... one time we were sitting right by the speaker... they had a lot of birthdays during that visit.... BAH NA NA NA NA NA... TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY... sometimes i cant get it out of my head.... That is my only complaint... So if you are looking for excellent food, a fantastic atmosphere and a quality resturaunt... i'd like to recomend you check out Mustang's Big Ol' Grill-- you'll thank me later! Lire plus

My husband and I frequently visit for our Friday night date nights and have never had a substandard meal or service experience. We love the fact that we can have a great meal and a couple of drinks at an affordable price without standing in line. If you like to pay inflated prices for cookie cutter microwaved meals and stand in line for the pleasure, this is not the place for you. The staff has been nothing short of pleasant and accomodating at every visit and make it their business to try to remember their customers. My husband and I are foodies and we love it here!!! We have been maybe a half dozen times and we have to drive a little ways to get here but we are never disappointed. The service as I have been told before through word of mouth, can always use a bit of tweaking but we keep coming back here so it cannot be that bad. We arrived and normally there is no one waiting at the hostess stand. Be prepared to wait a moment or 2. We were greeted promptly tonight however, and got a nice roomy table close to the window. There was a large party going on this evening so the staff were kept hopping. We ordered drinks and the soup of the day - we enjoyed every last bite (potato/bacon). My husband loved his German draught beer and I adored a new wine for me, a Hob Nob. I highly recommend this. The server as mentioned was busy and did her best to cater to us and everyone else in the place. We did have to ask for bread though which came later, much later as well as a steak knife and pepper had to be requested. As for meals, I was craving the Chicken Alfredo and I was so satisfied! I had half to take home with me too! The chicken was so tender, it was fall apart tender. The sauce was well prepared, nicely seasoned, the pasta well cooked and the mushrooms to die for. The brocolli was yummy too. My husband treated himself and got the ribeye steak - he gave it a 10. Deelish. The meat was melt in your mouth and the potatoes! MMM... The sauce was the best thing of all though, the jus. Homemade. the only thing is that it would have been nice to have some green on the plate, some type of veg. We could not order dessert, we were so full. Bonus - we got to meet the head chef/owner and he could not have been nicer. We left happy and with cash still in our pockets, the place is reasonable and not a money grabber. We will be back.
