Some friends of ours recommended Dalana with The Cake and the Giraffe to us, and it was a fantastic choice! We described what we wanted, and the cake was more beautiful than we could have imagined. The cake was not only absolutely delicious, but it was stunning to look at. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice, and we would highly recommend Dalana! We will certainly use her again for anniversaries and parties!

I just brought home the most amazing cake!!! Amazing attention to detail on the Lord of The Rings cake I ordered. Not cheap but well worth the price. I'm a happy customer. Can't wait for our next event so I can order another one.

If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:
Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9)
Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19)
Wine:
Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8)
This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.

THE SWEET SPOT - best quality ingredients, taste - ordered the Black Forest cake for my birthday - Outstanding. The lemon tarts we are so hooked on. Quiche any type is so delicate and yummy. Home made mint choco ice cream - delicious.
