Recently purchased a second home on the North Channel, and heard a lot about Mum's Restaurant. We decided to try one day, and we were very pleased! This is not your typical diner. Portions are massive. Could barely eat 3/4 of our meals. Service was great, and friendly. Decent prices for the amount of food they offer. Then there's the bakery! That alone is worth the drive! I try to get to Gloria's at least every trip to Sudbury, the breakfasts are amazing, fast, hot, and coffee is good, and refills are quick. I cannot speak for the weekends, but during the week, this is the place to be for Breakfast. Cannot sit in, take out is quality aswell. Lire plus

Oh my goodness this restaurant is good. It is a true gem and I have gone here many times with family and friends. Each and every time the food is hot, fresh and tastes like home cooking. The servers have been there awhile and are very kind and good at what they do. It is a family atmosphere where you can Taste the love in their food. We stopped at this restaurant for lunch during a road trip not knowing what to expect. It is fair to say that they completely exceeded our expectations. This place looks very humble from the outside, but you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to try Ali Baba restaurant. I've eaten there several times (usually I get the Spicy Chicken) and I've always enjoyed myself. The owner/ head chef definitely puts a lot of care and pride into his work.
