I have been to many service centers including one owned by a friend of mine. This one tops them all (sorry buddy!).
Smart mechanics and fast service. In my opinion nothing beats experience when it comes to mechanics. Let the other mechanics at other shops gain their experience at someone else expense! Believe me it is worth the drive out down bank st.

The Patricks here are great. Honest and work well.i just wish he was open on weekends. But it’s a small shop, so I can’t blame him. Small town mentality and service, the best! Highly recommended.

I brought my mazda tribute to Midas in bells corners for a noise. They took me in right away. The mechanic took it for a drive and brought it into the shop. Within 20 mins they had a estimate for me. They fixed my mazda by the time they said they would with no additional costs. I was very happy with the service on the front counter and the quality of work from Ken. I will certainly go back!

Amazing, helpful and friendly service! I had a flat tire at a nearby gas station around 5pm after work today. I managed to slowly drive over and the people at gifford we’re so welcoming and eager to help! They reassured me everything was going to be okay and patched up my tire then sent me on my way in 20 minutes! I have never felt so at home and in good hands with a garage. Amazing service and care. The guys working here are very honest. It's a refreshing change from what I'm used to - previously needing to do my research so I don't get taken advantage of at other repair shops. I have had such positive experiences with my vehicles - & was reasonably charged - that I've recommended their shop to neighbours and friends. Was utterly impressed with my recent experience bringing my vehicle into Takaki Automotive for an e-test. Scheduling (and multiple rescheduling) of my appointment was dealt with effortlessly and with a smile by Hiroshi, the owner's son. I was made to feel like I had not inconvenienced anyone and that they would simply re-gig things to accommodate my changing schedule.
My actual appointment was a pleasant experience. I had the opportunity to sit in Takaki's welcoming wait room (where coffee, an aquarium, tv and decorations await) while enjoying my conversation with the friendly receptionist and other staff who would occasionaly venture by. Takaki's team is one big family - happy, respectful and very helpful with all my questions.
I am told Mr. Takaki sr himself is a caring man of many diverse talents. On this visit, the gentleman was busy outside, wielding a huge metal pick to chip ice from the walkway. I hope for the opportunity of chatting with him too, during my next visit.
The fee charged for today's visit was very reasonable; the information provided afterwards was helpful and there was no attempt to "upsell" or solicit additional work. I would highly recommend. this business.
