I had several very good experiences with this Transmission shop this past year ,including a clutch replacement, new brakes and lines, and a driveshaft on an old British sports car .Also a complex transmission job on a more modern 7 seater van .The staff are very friendly ,the work excellent and at a very reasonable cost .I would highly recommend Peterborough Transmission .

I loved taking my car in to Danny's garage, everyone working there was so friendly. I only lived a few blocks away but I still thought it was very nice that they offered to drop me off at my house a few times. AND when my muffler pipe was falling off but still attached he recommended me to take it to a muffler place instead because they would have had tools to repair(bend it back into place and weld it on) it instead of just replace it like he would have had to do.

I have the highest regard for this gentleman/business. He is definitely a master at his craft. He’s super busy, but worth the wait. When I first arrived in Cobourg, I wanted to make sure my Mother’s Grandfather clock was in good working order. Unfortunately, another “clock man” in Cobourg did more harm than good. We have used Havelock Auto for a number of years for a variety of services. We always found Paul and his staff helpful and accommodating. Our cottage is on Round Lake in Havelock. Whenever possible we try to wait until we get to Havelock to get our cars serviced. It is much cheaper than the city and we have always been happy with the work they have done.
I would strongly recommend Havelock Truck and Auto.
