Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without.
Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry.
I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Their chicken korma is also delicious.

Food was very good and tasty! Spicy, mouth-watering hot and delicious. The Madras coffee was a really nice touch. Dining experience was a bit disappointing...one server who brought our meals piecemeal.....so we did not have the right accompaniments to our hoppers. But we still enjoyed the food. Crab curry was awesome!

Hands down the BEST Indian joint I have tried... butter chicken was jam packed full of flaviour and had the perfect amount of spice and spices (not Americanized at all). The naan bread is hand made fresh to order and very tasty! If you love Indian or are wanting to give it a try i definitely recmend this place.

I liked how you can order online & receive 10% for doing so! They mixed my order with one dish i did not want, peace $10. Apart from that the food was tasty. For the price you do not get an abundance of food. I did not feel great the next morning.

We usually do take outs on weekends but went their for lunch on weekday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It didn't look big buffet but wow had lots of varieties to eat and especially fresh nan and tandoori chicken. Not big on Indian desserts too sweet for me. Food is great we really enjoyed the lunch buffet and service is fast and courteous.

My wife and I have been going here since they opened about 11 years ago.
The flavours are fantastic and our only complaint is that they need to tone down the spiciness (heat) of the food.
We keep trying other Indian restaurants in Brampton but always come back to Minar as our favourite.
Great food at a great price with an adequate atmosphere.
Great Masala Chai & Nan Bread too.
as to the washrooms.... they could use a bit of maintenance but are always CLEAN and certainly in better shape than most Indian restaurants we have tried.

I love Paan and not only I visit this store frequently but also have to have a huge togo order while coming back to USA. The best Indian restaurant in Toronto. The only restaurant on Gerrard with a constant line up (and think how many restaurants there are). A great buffet, always being replenished. Great variety of flavours and presentations. The bread is out of this world. If you order from the menu, the selection is even better. Every dish cooked fresh, and they will adjust the heat to your liking. Very attentive and polite servers. A beautifully decorated room. Do yourself a favour - go to Sidhartha tonight.
