Exactly what you want in a breakfast place: good food, served fast, and quick refills on the coffee. Never been here after 11 am but the food is as good as almost any in Cambridge.

I almost hate to talk about this place as it has been our neighbourhood secret for some time. We have been going there for weekend breakfast on a somewhat regular basis since the day they opened. We have also taken people for lunch or dinner. The menu is very much homestyle, but its good food, large portions and reasonable prices.
My favourite is their breakfast melts, but if you aren't that hungry, try the Newfie steak special.

I've been to this restaurant several times. Not much in the way of atmosphere, something like Mom's diner. But the food! Incredible. Great portions, excellent price, well prepared and quick. Service is good, but go early or late for lunch, as it will get very busy very quickly, and is only a small place. Watch for the daily specials or the breakfast bowl melts.
The atmosphere is basic. Not fancy but the breakfasts are always good...the portions just right and the service is attentive and friendly. The only suggestion....Get rid of the flies in there!!Very annoying to be trying to eat as you are being attacked by the flies in the place..

Good portions. No problem ordering breakfast for dinner! Ribs were tasty, salad was fresh. The pickeral special was reasonable.
The soup was split pea with ham and although it really didn't taste like homemade, due to the size of the portions, I could only eat part of it anyway.
