I have been going to Westside since they opened. I always find their food very good and the service is excellent. I am not sure what other peoples experiences have been, but I know for a fact that their fish is NEVER double fried, and if you read the menu, everything is explained. I have had the hot beef sandwich, and find it very good. It says on the menu, excactly what you are getting, so if you don't want it on bread, don't order it. Some people you can never please. If you want fine dining, this is not your place. If you want good food, fun staff, good prices, very family friendly and good prices, this is the place to go. We go back again and again. I like that you can order a small portion, even if you are not a child. Sometimes you want a child size meal, but can not get it anywhere else. You can at Westside. And the pies cost me 10 lbs. per year. All baked on premises. I hightly recommmend it to anyone.

We have a cottage in the area and come in for breakfast, lunch or dinner as often as we can stand the calores. They have great home-made pies, too...
Whenever we have weekend guests, we usually take them to the Westside for a meal. It's always a highlight!
